She having graduated with an MBBS from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Punjab University, Lahore in 1985, she further pursued her passion for knowledge and obtained an M.Phil in Physiology from the Post Graduate Institute, Punjab University, Lahore in 1997. With an impressive track record of over 20 years of teaching experience at FJMC and 10 years at ANMDC, Lahore, she has become a dedicated and respected educator. For the past decade, she has served as the Head of the Physiology Department at ANMDC and actively participates as a member of the Library and Disciplinary Committees. Alongside her teaching role, she excels as an enthusiastic researcher, contributing fifteen research papers with a special focus on early diagnosis and management of diabetic neuropathy. As a mentor, she supervises the MPhil Physiology Program and research projects for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Her commitment to professional growth is evident as she recently completed certificate courses in Health Professional Education (CHPE) and Health Research (CHR), organized by the Medical Education Department of ANMDC. Continuously staying updated with the latest advancements, she actively attends conferences, workshops, and symposia. Her involvement in professional societies like the Pakistan Physiological Society (PPS) and the South Asian Association of Physiologists (SAAP) demonstrates her dedication to the field of physiology and her commitment to advancing medical education and research.

She is a distinguished Professor of Physiology at Azra Naheed Medical College. She obtained her MBBS degree from Quaid-eAzam Medical College, Bahawalpur in 1989, and later received her MPhil degree from The University of Lahore in 2010. With a profound passion for teaching, Dr. Fakhar-un-Nisa embarked on a teaching career spanning 16 years. She began as a demonstrator in Physiology from 2002 to 2011 at The University College of Medicine and Dentistry. Subsequently, she progressed to the role of Assistant Professor (Physiology) from 2011 to 2014. Later, she assumed the position of Associate Professor (Physiology) from 2014 to 2017 and currently serves as a Professor (Physiology) at Azra Naheed Medical College Lahore since January 2018. Driven by a commitment to professional growth, Dr. Fakharun-Nisa has earned a CHPE (Courses in Health Professional Education) Certificate. Her extensive research contributions are evident through multiple publications in esteemed journals recognized by PMDC. She has actively participated in various workshops, further enriching her knowledge and expertise in the field of Medical Physiology. As a dedicated academician, Dr. Fakhar-un-Nisa also serves as the advisor for 2nd-year MBBS students, guiding and nurturing the next generation of medical professionals at the college.

She is a dedicated scholar with degrees in MBBS, M. Phil, and currently pursuing her PhD, joined Azra Naheed Medical College as an Assistant Professor in January, 2020. Her medical journey began with the completion of MBBS from Sheikh Zayed Medical College, Rahim Yar Khan in 2009, followed by her post-graduation in Physiology (M.Phil Physiology) from the Universi-ty of Lahore in 2018. With an impressive teaching experience of nine years in the field of Physiology, Dr. Hina Sadaf has displayed a deep passion for research. Her current research focus revolves around the ex-pression of inflammatory variables of physiological importance in the pathogenesis of prostate cancer. As an enthusiastic and student-friendly teacher, she effectively engages and inspires her students by employing interactive teaching techniques, ensuring an enriching learning experience. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Hina actively participates in various research activities, leading to the publication of ten research papers so far. Her excellent communication skills and dedication to both teaching and research make her a valuable asset to Azra Naheed Medical College, fostering an environment of academic excellence and growth.

She is holding an MBBS and M.Phil degree, assumed the position of Assistant Professor at this institute in November 2020. She graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore in 2000 and completed her post-graduation from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore in 2021. Having garnered over 4 years of valuable teaching experience in the physiology department, Dr. Saima Zareen show-cases a particular interest in research. Her current research revolves around investigating Vitamin D levels and Pulmonary Function Tests in pre and post-menopausal women. As a passionate and research-oriented educator, she excels in effective communication and possesses administrative prowess. Dr. Saima Zareen’s dedication to her field and her commitment to enriching the academic environment with research-ori-ented teaching methodologies make her a valuable asset to the institute.
